Easy Peasy Cream Cheese Chocolate Pie

1-8oz package cream cheese-softened at room temperature
3/4 C. powdered sugar
1-16oz container of whipped topping
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
3.9 oz box of instant chocolate pudding
1 1/2 C. milk
1 chocolate wafer pie crust

Whip the cream cheese until softened.  Blend in powdered sugar, 1/2 of the container of whipped topping, and the pure vanilla extract.  Put into chocolate wafer crust and smooth top.

Make pudding using 1 1/2 C. milk and mix 2-3 minutes or until pudding is thick.  Add 1 c. whipped topping and fold in.  Top pie with pudding mixture and smooth top.  If desired, top with more whipped topping and chocolate curls.
