"DO THERE EXIST MANY WORLDS, OR IS THERE BUT A SINGLE WORLD? THIS IS ONE OF THE NOBLEST AND EXALTED QUESTIONS IN THE STUDY OF NATURE."
— ALBERTUS MAGNUS, C. 13TH CENTURY.
I am Pratik Dabhade, a dedicated astronomer with a profound passion for uncovering the mysteries of the Universe.
I am currently a post-doctoral fellow at Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain).

Until Sept 2022 I was a post-doctoral fellow at Observatoire de Paris (France).
I completed my PhD from the University of Leiden (Netherlands) in early 2021.
My PhD thesis is titled "Unveiling the nature of giant radio galaxies".
I was an Indo-French CEFIPRA (5204-2) fellow at IUCAA, Pune from 2015 to 2018.
My research expertise spans active galactic nuclei (AGNs), galaxy clusters, and superclusters. I specialise in radio astronomy, employing multi-wavelength data to advance our understanding of the cosmos. I am actively involved in large-scale radio sky surveys and have a profound interest in cosmic magnetism, alongside high-redshift AGNs. Furthermore, I am a contributing member of the SKA Continuum Science Working Group.
