Through the last years, I became fascinated with the development of sustainable and integrated processes to extract and purify biocompounds. I have been looking for natural added-value products with therapeutic properties. I like challenges, innovation and transformation, leading me to work/study outside from Portugal, at international universities. My aim is to use science to improve the people quality of life through the development of more cost-effective extraction and purification platforms, without forgetting the environment.
