Planning Bio

Our wedding day was fantastic, even though it was one of the hottest days in September! I planned everything and did my best to make it as personal as possible. The wedding was held at a campground that my dad's friend owns. I grew up camping and many of our guests camped at the location. We made an entire weekend of it. It was a blast! My grandfather was our officiant. He is a minister in a church and we wouldn't have had it any other way than him marrying us! My aunt was our photographer. Her and her partner are FABULOUS amateur photogs, and we really loved their photography so we wanted them to do the work. The string quartet was a quartet from the high school I graduated from. The DJ was a family friend. See what I mean? haha! Here are a few pictures:

This picture is my grandfather getting in the "zone" before our wedding, with our unity candles in front of him. It is such a beautiful picture.

DH's parents on the left, my parents on the right.

I loved my bustle!

A candid moment caught on camera! Love it!

He sure takes the cake! Ok... cheesy, I know. Haha!

The next day we had a luncheon, and that is where I served DH's groom's cake... which was an ice cream cake (his favorite) with the New England Patriots logo on it (our FAVORITE team... I had a Patriots garter also, and for my wedding present, he gave me a Patriots jersey with my new last name on it and 22 for our wedding date... I cried I was so happy, haha). This was the best picture I had of the cake... we forgot to take a picture of it before we cut it!

Just married! (See my jersey???)
