Planning Bio

Hello and welcome to my bio!

Jeff and I met online, back when chatrooms were "cool" and safe, haha. We met in person in August of 2001 after talking every night for a month until 5am. We were both going to be seniors in high school. From there it was history!

Jeff proposed to me for our five year anniversary. Unfortunately it was not a surprise for me, because I had overheard him telling my best friend that he was going to propose, and then he found out that I knew (it was his fault... he told her when I was in the next room... I really wasn't listening to what they were saying!). But it was still sweet and we were so happy to be engaged.

We were married on September 22, 2007. It was a beautiful fall wedding that I miss a lot! We cruised to Key West, Cozumel, and Belize with Royal Caribbean for our honeymoon.

We just bought our first house. We settled on May 30, 2008, and moved in on June 7, 2008... our original wedding date! We had moved the date up after realizing that we didn't want to wait so long. We are enjoying decorating and planning future remodels on our home.

We are also the proud parents of two insane furpuppies. We adopted 10 week old German Shorthair Pointer/Rottweiler mix sisters from the SPCA in June of 2008 for my birthday. They are the most adorable girls, but they are very active, so we find them tiring us out sooner than we tire them out! We can't wait until they are older, haha!

I graduated in 2006 with a degree in Public Relations, and after trying to get a job in the business world and work in an academic department as a secretary I decided I HATED sitting at a desk all day and realized that I really belonged in the education field, teaching. I am now in graduate school for my post-bacc certification and Master's of Education in Elementary Ed. I plan on returning after I finish to get my certification in Special Education and ESL also, as I am finding that I really would love to teach Special Ed. I am substitute teaching while I am finishing my El. Ed. certification. My DH graduated with a degree in chemistry and works in a lab at an ice cream and iced tea plant testing their products... part of his job is taste testing! Lucky him!
