Classwork & Homework Assignments
Posted Apr 5, 2012, 9:16 AM by Steve PriceSee the instruction document that I uploaded to the "Forms and Documents" section of the web site. All teams are expected to be ready to present on my return from California on Monday, March 19th. We will attempt to get two debates done each of the 2hr classes and one each day if we continue into an A week schedule. You are expected to turn in your printed report, two page, 12point, times new roman font, using 1" borders all the way around. Your title must not take up more than one inch of the top of the first page. Site your references. Each team must have a presentation to go along with their reports. Do not e-mail this to me. Bring it to my computer on a flash drive or CD when it's your turn to present.Note: Those of you that did not give me your reports at the time of your teams presentation, may still do so but I will deduct 10 points for being late. Those teams that had no presentation will loose 25 points from the presentation points.
New Weekly Homework Assignment
Posted Feb 8, 2012, 10:34 AM by Steve PriceFor second semester, I have changed the homework assignment for my students. There will be two options for students who have kept their Leadership Assignment sheet as instructed from 1st semester. They can continue with the 25 points every grading period or chose to do the new weekly assignment for 10 points per week. Those who lost or discarded that sheet will only have the new assignment to earn homework points. The new assignment is current event research related and can be found in the Forms and Documents link on the left of the website page. Instructions are on the template. There is another example as well. The assignment is not complete unless both pages are completed as instructions dictate. These are due every Thursday or considered late. Students may submit multiple weeks at one time to get ahead.
Semester 2 Autodesk Inventor - Advanced
Posted Feb 8, 2012, 9:09 AM by Steve PriceDue to some of the current students already having experience for one reason or another from their Foundations course in the 9th grade, I allowed those students to test-out and start farther into the training curriculum than the rest of the students who had none. They were allowed to choose a drawing and complete it as a warm-up drawing. Then they had to complete the two drawings at the end of chapter 9 (9.1 and 9.2) as "gateway" drawings that qualified them to move on from there, instead of starting from scratch. Their grades will have an "Adv" before the name. They will have blanks on the grade book where the Beginning student assignments are scored. Their's will have "Inv" before their assignment names. Like the Beginning drawings, there is only right or wrong. 100 is the only acceptable score.
