Throughout the school year, AABC awards grants to teacher and students to use to support academic and arts activities at Ames High. We are especially eager to fund worth student requests.
The grants are awarded by the AABC board, made up of parents, teachers, students, and administration. They usually range from a couple to several hundred dollars, depending on the need and how well the project fits with AABC goals.
To help AABC board members better prioritize what we fund, deadlines are set for at least two times during the academic year, but AABC is always willing to consider other grant applications during other parts of the year.
The next upcoming grant deadline is Friday, March 14, 2014. Successful applicants will be contacted as soon awards are decided, usually within 3 weeks after the application deadline.
