Ads for Ramada Inn Downtown, Gaslite Motel, Hilton Inn, Pan American Lodge, Best Western White Winrock and Western Skies Motor Hotel. The Ramada Downtown on West Central Avenue became a franchise of that lodging chain this year (1976) after previously serving as a Quality Inn and before that was built as a Downtowner Motor Inn in the mid-1960s. It would operate as a Ramada Inn for some 25 years before assuming its current name - Hotel Blue - a few years ago.
