Course Introduction

The Driving Question

We live in a world where the entire human genome's been sequenced - more than once. Yet our understanding of the molecular underpinnings of devastating diseases like cancer is just beginning.

This course is designed to give you the tools to answer the question: When is genetic testing to assess cancer predisposition appropriate and what considerations guide how you counsel patients on the benefits, limitations, and potential risks of genetic testing?
