The Sargodha (Urdu, Saraiki: سرگودھا, Pashto: سرگودھا) is a city in West Punjab Province, Pakistan. The city is the capital of the district and tehsil of the same name. Sargodha is the 12th largest city in Pakistan with a population of around 650,000. It is also an administrative center of the Sargodha Division and one of the fastest-growing cities in Pakistan. Muhammad Awais (Member IEEE: 95417472) received his B.S. degree in computer science from the University of Sargodha, Sargodha, Pakistan in 2017 and received his M.S. degree in Computer science, under the supervision of Dr. Nadeem Javaid from COMSATS University Islamabad, Islamabad, Pakistan. He also worked as a Research Associate during his M.S. period in Communications over Sensors Research Group in the Department of Computer Science at COMSATS University Islamabad, Islamabad, Pakistan. Recently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Communication Systems from the School of Computing and Communications under the supervision of Dr. Haris Pervaiz from Lancaster University, Bailrigg, Lancaster LA1 4YW, United Kingdom, where he is also working as a Teaching Assistant. He has authored over 30+ articles in technical journals and international conferences. He also serves as a Regular Reviewer for numerous ISI indexed journals. Additionally, he holds the best paper award certificate in an international conference namely EIDWT 2019. He is passionate about Smart Grid, Routing in Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things-enabled WSNs, Blockchain-based Systems, Data Science-based WSNs and Internet of Things enabled Underwater Sensor Networks.
