Yay! When the delivery guys delivered the fridge, we found out that we had a water line already installed. Since it hadn't been used in twenty years, though, I figured it was worth having the water line guy out to install one anyway since he was scheduled for two days later. When the water line guy arrived, he saw what we already had and said "save yourself $100 and tell me to leave." So I did. The problem was the delivery guys forgot to deliver the tube to connect the water line to the fridge. So we had to wait another day--and install it ourselves. This was the first time the new dispenser was used. Shortly after this, we heard "drip, drip, drip" and realized the hose we just installed was leaking. After fiddling with it some more, we got the leak to stop. But I don't have much faith that the leak won't return...

I so love my refrigerator with icemaker and ice/water dispenser in the door, but it's a temperamental beast. Yesterday the copper water line sprung a leak where the tubing had been bent accidentally. Today my handy dandy husband cut the tubing and put a new fitting on the end, but even after tightening the thing as much as possible, there's still a small leak at the connection. He knows how much I love my icemaker, so will try again tomorrow. 4/6
