Another fun filled and packed day. It all started with a 10K race that my wife and I participated in. She did awesome, finished 3rd in the womens division and 7th overall. Me on the other hand...well I'm still slow. That's OK though, it was a good experience and I had fun doing it. After the race I cam home and went for a 23 mile bike ride with a co-worker. We averaged 17.1 mph...I was pretty happy with that considering it was my second workout for the morning. It was also the first time I've been on my bike in over 2 weeks - damn did that feel good. So, with all that you'd think I'd crash on the couch for the rest of the day right? Hell NO! We went to Old Chicago and got some lunch and some beers. Btw, I am only 6 beers away from completing the World Beer Tour. Anyway, after lunch we went to the MSU Bobcats football scrimmage..from there we went golfing...and after golf I made a pizza and went right to bed. So, I think I may make sunday a lazy day.

Years ago my wife bought this nylon/pvc raincoat as she biked quite a lot. For a long time it was folded away in a bag on her bike. Later on it moved to our corridor by the frontdoor, ready for use. However, it was seldom used, also because my wife found that the pvc had hardened and the coat did therefore feel a bit stiff. I took this pics only minutes before my wife took it off its hook to fold it up and wanted to put it in the bin.
