The conference will be held at the historic Fort Mason Center, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It originally served as a fortified military base established by the Spanish in 1776. Today, this popular waterfront campus has hosted programs, events, and organizations since it re-opened in 1977. Please join us at the Fort Mason Marina Room on the first day of the workshop at 9am for the formal opening or at 7.30am for the pre-workshop breakfast session (ALM 101). See the workshop agenda for more information.
The third day of the workshop will be held at the PLOS headquarters in the historic Levi-Strauss Plaza, when we join forces with the developer community to build prototypes of ALM tools. The PLOS office provides a creative and comfortable atmosphere for collaboration and is stocked with all the necessities for fruitful collaboration (numerous meeting rooms, strong wifi, office amenities, plenty of brain food and snacks).
