Hi Everyone,

I am a Sonoma County resident through and through.  I grew up in Petaluma, where I still live.  I went to Kenilworth Junior High followed by Casa Grande High School and graduate from there in 2000.  After graduation I attended Santa Rosa Junior College.  Once I earned my Associates of Arts degree from SRJC I transferred to Sonoma State.  I  went through the undergraduate program in Kinesiology (the study of the human movement) with an emphasis on Physical Education.  In 2005, I graduated from SSU with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology.  I entered the Credential Program that fall.

I student taught at Casa Grande with one of my former teachers, Bill Silva.  After student teaching I started substitute teaching and received a long-term sub position at Ross School.  During the summer of 2007 I was hired by Principle Smith to work here at Altimira and have worked here ever since.  I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Physical Education as well as 8th grade Language Arts, Leadership, and AVID.  I have also coached 7th and 8th grade Girls Basketball, 7th grade Boys Basketball, and 7th and 8th grade Track.  I look forward to getting to know you and seeing you grow throughout the school year.
