Landscapes of Alta California

When I was growing up, I heard  many stories about my grandfather. One story in particular is indelible to my mind.  Someone wanted to put a curse on him. So they wrote his name on a piece of paper and tossed it into the river. This insured that my grandfather would always wander. If inheritance is worth anything, I will
travel far and wide for the rest of my life.

Having inherited the curse, I developed a love for landscapes. In order to help me remember what I have seen and where I have been, I picked up a camera to document my trips and it supplements my questionable memory.

Photography is an outgrowth of love for my family, their stories and of my travel. When I am on a trip, it is like being with my grandfather and he always tells me, thanks for using the inheritance wisely.
