Description of the work

The objective of this work package is to present the recommendations of the project to the scientific community and the major stakeholders, such as national authorities, NGO’s, the European Commission and the public and includes:

Main activities:

• Coordinate of disseminate, presenting the proceedings and results of the project at conferences.
• Produce and disseminate leaflets for the plenary meetings and the Grand Final meeting.
• Prepare information materials, newsletter contributions and press releases.
• Prepare the Grand Final Meeting.
• Distribute the instruments (questionnaire and modules) and standard operation procedures (SOPs) via websites, such as the IPAQ homepage, the PHEA website, the European Commission’s health portal, the HEPA Europe website and the website of the Working Party ‘Lifestyle and other health determinants’.
• Communicate all results to the Working Party ‘Lifestyle and other health determinants’.
• Visually present the SOP for the recommended fitness test for adults and children on a DVD, which will be widely distributed.
• Communicate the results of the project through the members of the Steering Committee and the global IPAQ group.
• Draft and publish a booklet summarizing the results, recommendations and instruments/procedures of all technical work packages.
• Draft and submit scientific articles for publication to scientific journals.

The deliverables for WP2 are the following:

• Leaflets for the plenary meetings and the Grand final meeting
• Presentation event at the end of the proposed project
• Booklet publication, which summarizes the results, recommendations and instruments/procedures.
