2016, therefore, was our last tour. Thank you to all the riders who came no matter what the weather, the sponsors who donated so GENEROUSLY, and the team runners, parents, coach, and volunteers who helped make this all happen. It was a lot of fun. We're sad it's over. Keep riding. MAHALO!!

Every four years the Viroqua Cross Country team travels to Hawaii to participate in a cross country meet hosted by James Rubasch, a coach who grew up in Vernon County in Southwestern Wisconsin. Each athlete works hard to pay his or her own way. In September 2014, the runners finally traveled to Hawaii and competed in the Iolani Invitational. Now, a new group of runners is working to travel to Hawaii in 2018!

Scheduled for August 20, 2016, our student-athletes are once again hosting a bike tour fundraiser, the fifth anniversary Aloha Bike Tour! It continues to do many things for our runners: involve them in the community, raise funds for the planned trip, encourage team spirit and unity, and promote an active lifestyle. We also love showing off our beautiful Vernon County. Come ride and let these young athletes be your host as you tour a challenging and spectacular rural countryside.

Be sure to let your friends and family know about this great opportunity to help our young students by sharing on Google+, FACEBOOK  or Twitter.  We look forward to riding with you on Saturday, August 20, 2016!
