Hello and welcome!

I am currently an Economic Analyst at the Fiscal Policy Analysis unit of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC).

I have a PhD in Economics by the Paris School of Economics, done under the supervision of Romain Rancière on the topic "Income inequality and the stabiling role of the tax and transfer system in times of crisis". 

Prior to joining the JRC, I worked as a researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), a consultant at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), an Assistant Professor of Macroeconomics at the Paris Graduate School of Economics, Statistics and Finance (ENSAE) and an economist at the Economics and Research Department of Banco de Portugal.

In paralell with my work in economics, I pursue an activity as a dancer of contemporary dance and tango.
