White Chicken Chili

3 c. cooked shredded chicken
1 med. onion, diced
1 t. garlic powder
1 T. olive oil
1 can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14.5 oz) chicken broth
1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies
1 t. salt
1 t. ground cumin
1 t. dried oregano
1/2 t. pepper
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
1 C sour cream
1/2 C whipping cream

In large saucepan, saute onion in oil until soft. Add in chicken, beans, broth, chilies and seasonings. Bring to boil, then reduce to a simmer for 30 mins., uncovered. Remove from heat and add in sour cream and whipping cream. Serve immediately.  Serves 4.
