Moo's Caramel Brownies

1 boxed chocolate cake mix
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg {14 oz} caramels
3/4 c. melted butter
1 pkg. dark chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan. In a large bowl, blend together cake mix, melted butter and 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of this mixture into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 6 minutes.

In a separate bowl microwave caramels until melted {about 1.5 minutes}. Add in 1/3 c. evaporated milk and stir to combine. Pour this mixture over the partially baked brownies and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Drop small bits of remaining brownie batter on top.

Bake for another 18 to 20 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting.
