Crock Pot Broccoli Cheese Soup

1 onion, finely diced

2 T. butter

1 head of broccoli, chopped in small pieces

1 1/2 c. milk

1 can cream of chicken soup {or homemade}

1 c. chicken stock

12 oz. Velveeta, cubed

1 t. pepper


1.  In a skillet saute the onions and butter together until translucent.

2.  Combine all ingredients into the crock pot.

3.  Set on low and let cook for 2-3 hours or until all is combined and melted.

4.  Serve warm with fresh bread or crackers.
