1/2 c. chopped onion 1 pint sour cream 1 can cream of chicken soup 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 (2 lb.) bag of frozen shredded hash browns 2 c. chopped or cubed ham salt, pepper to taste optional: 3/4 sleeve of Ritz crackers + 2 T. melted butter (for topping) 1. Combine onion, sour cream, soup, cheese, seasonings, hash browns and ham. Mix well. Pour mixture into a large Ziploc bag. Push down flat and freeze. 2. When ready to prepare, thaw mixture in fridge overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put mixture into a 9x13 baking dish. 3. Bake 45-60 minutes. Add topping during the last 15 minutes. |
