Caramel Apple Crumble

4 apples, peeled, dice and cored

1/2 c. sugar

2/3 c. oatmeal

1/2 c. flour

2 t. cinnamon

1/3 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. unsalted butter, melted

1 c. jarred caramel topping

1.  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 8x8 baking dish.

2.  Combine the diced apples with 1 t. of the cinnamon, tossing to coat.  Lay the apples in the bottom of the baking dish.

3.  In a bowl combine all dry ingredients.

4.  Pour melted butter over the dry ingredients, stirring to combine.  Sprinkle over the apples.

5.  Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes.

6.  Let dish sit for 10-15 minutes.  Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping.
