Baptisms (Christenings)     at All Saints Anglican Church

289-291 The Entrance Road, The Entrance

May I begin by extending to you a very warm welcome to All Saints The Entrance.
Whether you are enquiring about Baptism for yourself or for your child
we will be able to assist you in this important step.

WHAT IS BAPTISM ?
Baptism is a sacrament instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ whereby a person is received into Christ’s Holy Church and made a member of the same;  they receive the forgiveness of sins and are born again and made regenerate in the Holy Spirit.

HOW DO I ARRANGE FOR A BAPTISM ?
The first step is to phone the Parish on   (02) 4332 2374
or   come to a Service and meet one of the ministers.

One of the Clergy will meet with you and make all the arrangements, answer your questions and help you to prepare for the special day. Once a date has been set we prefer to keep this date for you and your family alone.

WHAT DOES IT COST?
There is no cost for a Baptism.  However our costs in providing you with a Baptism booklet, Gospel, Baptism cards and Godparent’s cards and a Baptism candle are about $20+.   (You MAY supply your own candle.)
You will be provided with an envelope and a donation to cover at least these costs would be much appreciated. This can be placed in the Collection Plate at the end of  the Baptism service (The Collection Plate will be near the door of  the Church on the day of the Baptism).

We will look forward to meeting you and your family.  May God Bless you.

                                    Yours in His service,

                                    Rev’d Stephen Powter
