I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Cameron School of Business at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Previously, I was a Research Economist in the Public Health Economics Program at RTI International

My research includes the areas of health policy, public health insurance, family economics, and human capital development. My current projects examine the impact of public health insurance policy on maternal and infant health, evaluations of interventions funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a methodology for comparison group selection for rolling entry interventions, and the impact of family structure on the gender gap in ADHD diagnosis.
