2015/16 Ludington Futsal Training
Using a low-bounce ball, futsal is played in gymnasiums and stadiums around the world. LINK It is always played with four (4) field players and GK and requires a great deal of technical ability. For young players, the skills learned in futsal training can dramatically improve confidence and control for outdoor soccer.
Abrahm Shearer holds a USSF ‘A’ License (the highest in the United States) and in 1998 became the first to start a futsal training program in Michigan. Since that time he has trained hundreds of players a year with many going on to impact college and professional teams. Shearer has coached teams to six (6) state championships and as a college coach was a finalist for national coach of the year.
Ryan Fitzsimmons is the lead instructor for our Ludington classes.
