EAS 2014 at EKU Photos

The state of Kentucky was very fortunate to host the 2014 Eastern Apicultural Society Conference this year at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond Kentucky. Authors, researchers, Master Beekeepers and professors from all over the world attended along with beekeepers from every point east to west. Classes were offered on just about every beekeeping subject imaginable in a week long conference. Kentucky's own State Apiarist, Dr Tammy Horn presided over the conference as EAS President doing a splendid job of organizing this yearly event. Also offered at EAS was the opportunity for enthusiasts to become an EAS Certified Master Beekeeper. Congratulations to Matt Wilson of Berea, Ky for earning his certification becoming the third citizen of the Bluegrass to attain this coveted title joining Kent Williams ('03) and Carol Marks ('05).
