My name is Rob Reardon and I am a Captain for the Duxbury Fire Department in
Massachusetts.  Before being hired in Duxbury I was a Call Firefighter in Carver for 4 years and was the founding member of their photo team.  I became interested in photography at a young age thanks to my Grandfather!  I have been playing with cameras for 35 years and photographing fires for over 25 years now.   I was a stringer for the Boston Herald, the Boston Globe, a videographer for NECN and finally a videographer with Fox 25 for six years before switching careers to become a full time firefighter.

My photos have been used in books, newspapers, magazines, calendars, web sites, catalogs, training programs, TV shows and more.  Here is a list of some of the places they have appeared:  The New York Times, Firehouse Magazine, Fire Engineering Magazine, The Engine Company book by John Salka, Five Alarm Leadership book, Hot Shots book, Fire Apparatus Journal, Fire Rescue Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Fire Apparatus Magazine, Smoke Showin' Magazine, Urban Firefighter Magazine, National Fire Fighter, The Brockton Enterprise, The Patriot Ledger, ABC 20/20, CNN, ABC World news, CBS Evening News, The Discovery Channel and many more.

In 2014 I jumped on board with the Wareham Gateman baseball team as their official photographer.  It has been a great experience to shoot these boys as they transition to MLB.  Thank you for visiting my site!
