Welcome to my website!

I received my PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Neurology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I was recently awarded an NRSA Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship to study the relationship between perspective-taking and domain-general executive function abilities in both neurologically healthy participants and individuals with nonfluent aphasia.

More information to come!

If you've got some spare time and are looking for some light reading (haha), my dissertation is available for download here.
(Note that Experiments 1-5 have been published as Trude, Tremblay, & Brown-Schmidt (2013), JML, and Experiment 6 has been published as Trude, Duff, & Brown-Schmidt (2014), Cortex.  A manuscript containing Experiment 7 is currently under revision.)
