As of September 2015, I am a lecturer in English Language at De Montfort University. Before that, I was a British Academy postdoctoral fellow at UCL Linguistics, and a postdoctoral researcher in the Context-dependence, perspective and relativity group at Institut Nicod, Paris. I received my PhD from UCL in 2009.

Research interests: Theoretical pragmatics and its interfaces with syntax and semantics; philosophy of language. In particular, the explicit-implicit distinction, linguistic underdeterminacy, lexical pragmatics, and ellipsis.
