I am a teaching fellow in pragmatics at UCL. From 2009-13 I was a British Academy postdoctoral fellow at UCL Linguistics, and from 2010-11 I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Context-dependence, perspective and relativity group at Institut Nicod, Paris. I received my PhD from UCL in 2009. Starting in September 2015, I will be a lecturer in English Language at De Montfort University.

Research interests: Theoretical pragmatics, philosophy of language, and semantics. In particular, the explicit-implicit distinction, linguistic underdeterminacy, lexical pragmatics, and subsentential speech.
