I am a Staff Researcher at Huawei Technologies, Canada.

My research interests lie in measurement, modeling, design, optimization, and management of networking and security systems.

Prior to Huawei, I did my PostDoc at the Department of Computer Science @ Cornell University, working with Prof. Rachit Agarwal. I received my PhD from Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University, with Dr. Alex Liu as my advisor. I received Masters in Electrical Engineering and Bachelors in Electronics Engineering from National University of Sciences & Technology, Pakistan. I served as a Lecturer at National University of Sciences & Technology, Pakistan, in 2012. I have also worked as research intern at Hewlett Packard Labs, IBM Research T. J. Watson, AT&T Labs Inc., Microsoft Research Cambridge.
