Alice's Restaurant Bicycle Ride

Front Page Story in the Waterbury Republican & photos (2) are here

Many thanks to the 21 riders who showed up for the 2023 ride. The weather was cold but sunny and we all had a good ride.  This year we marked the  58th Anniversary of the song and 23rd for the ride, for another "Thanksgiving Ride" - that couldn't be beat. The 2024 Ride will be on Saturday November 30th, starting at 10:00 am.

In the event of bad weather the 2024 ride will be changed to Sunday December 1st - update will be posted here no later than 5pm on Friday November 29th

The day will be cold, high in the 30s, but it will be dry and hopefully partly sunny so the 2023 ride is ON for Saturday November 25th.

The Alice's Restaurant Bicycle Ride is held every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  The 2023 ride will be on Saturday November 25th.

The ride is 68 miles with only 3 hills, or shorter options, and passes farms, goes along streams, and through villages in the Berkshires and of course passes the famous Alice's Restaurant Garbage Trail sites.

Special Thanks to local resident Alan Wilken for providing local insight on the Garbage Trail history and locations and providing riders support & transportation.
