CV Alfons Oude Lansink

Alfons Oude Lansink (1967) holds an Msc and PhD from Wageningen University. He is the head of the department of Business Economics of Wageningen University, which hosts 10 faculty and 25 PhD students. Moreover, he is the director of the Wageningen Graduate school of Social Sciences (WASS). His research evolves around four main themes, i.e.

• • Dynamic efficiency and productivity analysis

  • Economics of plant health and invasive species

  • Sustainable performance of food supply chains and agribusiness

  • Investments and financing in the agribusiness

He has published over 200 refereed journal articles and has acted as guest editor of leading international refereed economics journals. Also, he was previously a member of the editorial board of Agronomy Journal and the European Review of Agricultural Economics. He is a visiting professor of the Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland) and holds a courtesy appointment at the University of Florida.
