I have made a tool, Bake, that makes doing numerical modeling parameter studies easy. The simulations for the videos below, and the videos themselves, were made with the help of Bake: Bake makes dealing with 12 or 100 runs as easy as dealing with 3.
Soft leukocyte (0.6 nN/micron) under 400/s shear rate. It detaches quickly from the surface.
Medium stiffness leukocyte (1.2 nN/micron) under 400/s shear rate. It lurches forward about halfway through the video.
Stiff leukocyte (3.0 nN/micron) under 400/s shear rate. It doesn't deform very much.
