I am an assistant professor of finance in the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Institute of Technology. I hold bachelor's and Master degrees from Brown University and a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Michigan. My research focus is on asset pricing, investment, and macroeconomics. I have papers using theoretical models to examine the impact of monetary policy and fiscal policy on equity returns and the term structure of interest rates as well as to study how household- and firm-level frictions drive risk premia in financial assets. Empirically, I am interested in the effect of government policy and legislation on firm outcomes such as returns and investment in the cross-section. At Scheller, I teach a Ph.D. course on the theory of finance and fixed income at the undergraduate level and the Master level.
