I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Notre Dame. My research interests are in Commutative Algebra and its interactions with Algebraic Geometry, Homological Algebra, and Combinatorics. My mentors are Claudia Polini and Claudiu Raicu.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in Berkeley under the supervision of David Eisenbud.

I obtained my PhD in Fall 2017 from Purdue University, under the supervision of Giulio Caviglia. I spent the Spring and Summer of 2016 at the University of Genova.

Between 2007 and 2012 I was a student at the University of Catania and at Scuola Superiore di Catania, where I obtained a B.Sc., a M.Sc., and a Diploma di Licenza under the supervision of Marco D'Anna.
