I am a Lead Economist in the Money, Credit and Financial Accounts Section, Monetary Analysis Division, at the European Central Bank, where I coordinate the division's modelling and projections team and its contribution to the Eurosystem/ECB staff macroeconomic projections. Before taking up this role in May 2026, I was an Economist in the Bank Lending Conditions Section of the same division (2022–2026), where I coordinated the euro area Bank Lending Survey. Earlier in my career, I was an Economist at the Bank of Italy in the Strategy and Stance Section of the Monetary Analysis Directorate (2016–2022), including a stint in the ECB's Monetary Policy Strategy Division (2019–2020). I hold a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from Università Bocconi.

My research interests are monetary policy and its transmission, quantitative macroeconomics, and the interaction between climate policies and monetary policy.

Alongside research, I am actively involved in Eurosystem policy work. I contributed to both ECB strategy reviews: to the 2020–21 review on the workstreams on climate change and on employment, and to the 2024–25 review as team lead for the sub-workstream on the side effects of monetary policy tools on banks and non-bank financial institutions. My policy analysis, including work on the TLTRO III phase-out and bank lending conditions, has appeared in the ECB Economic Bulletin.
