Interns are eligible to receive a performance-based stipend at the conclusion of the internship up to $2,500 or $3,000.

Community/Youth Outreach & Youth Leadership Conference  

The Community and Youth Outreach Intern will plan the 2024 Youth Leadership Conference at Stanford University.  The Conference brings together 100 high school students from around the world to train them in leadership and motivate them to take action against the biggest health disparity faced by Asians and Pacific Islanders today, hepatitis B.  You’ll also work closely with our Team HBV High School and Collegiate Advisory Board on local community outreach ideas and projects.

Community Outreach

The responsibility of the community outreach interns will be to plan and execute community outreach activities aimed at creating awareness about hepatitis B and liver cancer among the Vietnamese and Filipino communities in Northern California. They will also be responsible for coordinating educational resources for physicians, nurses, patients, and community associations. 

Graphic Design

We are looking for a creative graphic designer capable of crafting distinct designs and excelling in a collaborative environment with multiple priorities. Utilize Adobe software such as After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to conceive original designs for flyers, brochures, posters, and websites. Your creations will take center stage at outreach events and be showcased on the official Stanford website.

Digital Content and Social Media Strategist 

We are seeking a student passionate about impacting communities through digital content. Your work will drive brand awareness and the growth of our digital communities for the purpose of improving community health. This will be a good fit for someone excited about pioneering creative social media campaign concepts that are backed by data.

Program and Outreach Coordinator Intern 

We are seeking a Program and Outreach Coordinator Intern who is passionate about driving and coordinating efforts for our programs that bring our community together with the goal of working towards our mission and improving community health. This will be a good fit for someone excited about community organization, leading, and collaborating with the youth, the community, and volunteers. 

Research

We are seeking enthusiastic interns to help with data analysis and report writing for an ongoing research project that evaluates the care cascade of chronic hepatitis B patients by utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) data. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills in data analytics and academic writing. As an intern, you may have the chance to co-author a research paper published in a peer-reviewed journal.
