FADS - Friends of Alburgh with Denton Primary School

We are an active group of parents who support the school by raising funds and strengthen the school’s sense of community through social events. We organise many different events throughout the year and are thus able to provide financial assistance for both curricular and non-curricular items and activities.

We meet informally at least once each half term, dates posted on the school noticeboard, and everyone is always welcome to come along and contribute their ideas and time. Pre-schoolers also welcome with you.

We are a member of the NCPTA and a registered charity (No. 1106027)

Do come along and join us or catch one of us in the playground if you’d like more information on what we get up to.

Dear Friends of Alburgh with Denton School,

Joint Chairs

Chantelle Keeble-

I am a mum of two girls who both attend the school, one a Seedling and one a Sapling. I had been involved with FADS for a few years before I became joint chair. I am passionate about raising money for our wonderful school but having fun whilst doing it!

Sarah Fearnley-

I have a daughter in the Saplings class. I have been involved with FADS for a few years helping out at various fundraisers before becoming Joint Chair.

Melonie Bussey - Treasurer

I currently have a daughter in the Seedlings class and my son will start school in September 2017. I am keen to be involved with the school and support fundraising in my role as Treasurer. At present I am working part time as an accountant.

Siobhan Keeble – Secretary

My son is in the Saplings class at the school and I have been involved with FADS for a few years now, both through raising money and working as secretary on the committee. Outside of the school I volunteer in the St Elizabeth Hospice shop in Harleston and work part time in a café in Diss.

Get Involved

There are two main ways of getting involved and supporting FADS.

Firstly, we have regular meetings to organise events, which are open to all friends of the school and advertised on the school notice board. Our events are only made possible by having lots of helpers and we make it as easy as possible for you to get involved.

Secondly, our events are only successful if parents, carers, teachers and governors attend them.  There are lots of different events aimed at children, families and adults.

We look forward to your support over the coming year.
