The Last Tango in Baghdad
by Albert Khabbaza, M.D.
This is an inspirational memoir depicting a painstakingly true tale of a fascinating life lived in the Middle East during turbulent times. Dr. Khabbaza recounts the terrible injustices he encountered throughout his life. Born into a well respected Jewish family in Baghdad, Dr. Khabbaza shares with us the story of his early years and how he fled Iraq and migrated to Israel. Despite many hardships, he studied medicine in Jerusalem. He and his family then planned their migration to the U.S. and embarked on a journey of incalculable risks. Dr. Khabbaza examines political facts and reveals in detail the events that shaped his life.
Location: Community Room, 159 Bayview Ave. Main Bldg.
