Finally I get time to play with the yard sales finds from six weeks ago. We went to one sale and spent every dime we had on vintage Barbie, Christmas, bunnies, dolls and books. Going through all the different things I found the exact doll and dress that models the refrigerator in the 1979 Barbie Dream House brochure. Only tow pieces were missing from the frig contents. The top hings was broken and I repaired it by melting a tiny hole and sticking in a straight pin. Kissing Barbie...push a button on her back and her lips pucker. And yes I got the Dream House, too. It's hard to photograph myself wearing a scarf, and the dogs give me weird looks when I try to get them to model knitwear, so here is my lovely and magnet-covered refrigerator modeling my scarf, which I finished months ago but only now got around to photographing. Yarn is banana "silk"; pattern is one I found somewhere on the Web and wrote down, but neglected to cite my source. Basically, it's three rows of moss stitch, then a border of two knit stitches around a simple K2tog/YO middle.
