The Perogy XC Mountain Bike Race Presented by United Cycle will be held at Terwillegar Park in Edmonton's River Valley.  Terwillegar Park is the hub of Cross-country Mountain biking in Edmonton, providing more than 200 acres of rideable terrain in nature beauty.  Trails vary from tight and technical single track to more open double track trails.   While most of the park is relatively flat, the river bank itself provides steep and challenging climbs.  The 2008 Perogy XC uses some of the same course as the 2007 Provincial MTB championships, which makes the course more selective and more spectator friendly.

The Perogy XC is organized by Alberta MTB Racing powered by ARC who strive to provide a fun & well organized experience.  Riders of all abilities will enjoy a high level of quality & excitement while sharing good times with good friends.  Come on out and get your Perogy on!

UPDATE - The 2008 Perogy XC course has been finalized.  It features 1km more singletrack than the provincial championship course.  190m of climbing for every 7 km lap.  Lap counts for all categories will change from what is outlined in the technical guide - details to follow.
