Wrestler of the Week for Thursday January 24^th is Grade 10 Wrestler Russell David. Russell is one of the quiet workhorses in the Alberni Valley Wrestling Club. Russell rarely misses a practice or any type of wrestling event. He doesn’t have to be reminded when there is work to be done and he doesn’t need awards or recognition to continue doing it. There are many days when Russell rides his bike across town to get to practice, goes on the team run, gives it his all on the mat, and then rides his bike back home. That is certainly dedication that makes Russell a very worthy recipient of Wrestler of the Week.
