Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Tufts University.

I am on sabbatical during the 2017-2018 academic year and visiting the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.

My fields of interest are Macroeconomics, Macro-Labor, International Macroeconomics, and Monetary Economics. I am particularly interested in the study of labor market dynamics, financial frictions, and business cycles, the consequences of sectoral heterogeneity for aggregate fluctuations, the role of macro policy in mitigating the impact of adverse shocks, and the impact of structural reforms on macroeconomic performance with a focus on developing and emerging economies (DEMEs).
