Alan will be playing at Australian National Folk Festival in Canberra at Easter. He is scheduled to do three concerts.
He continues to run the Newtown Acoustic Sound open mic session twice a month (with Kevin Ikin and Janine Mitchell). His fourth CD has been recorded at the Surgery and the final mixing is underway.
Alan played at the Karori Karnival 16 February.

Alan is performing at Wellington Folk Festival - Labour Weekend (25 - 27 October) He will be part of the story tellers group - performing and running a workshop.

Alan is working on a new group of songs. He tries them out at Newtown Acoustic Sound held at the Office Bar Newtown, Wellington 5.30 - 8.00 on the second and last Sundays of every month.
Alan played a short set at Rumpy in Otane - A great venue with run by Mary Kippenberger and Peter Charlton-Jones and their fabulous and generous family.
The third CD is finished! Road Trip has been completed with the help of Elizabeth Auchinvole on violin and Janine Mitchell on vocals. The recording was done with Lee Prebble and Mike Gibson and Mike did an amazing job editing and mastering.

Alan is playing at the Bunker in Devonport Auckland on Monday 14 July. The evening starts with an open mic at 8.00 and Alan will be on at around 9.00 pm. Come along and hear some original New Zealand music. There will be songs from his two albums and some new material.

Alan has been back in the studio working on a new recording. Tentatively titled Moving On it follows on from the Best and tells the story of Alan moving into the city after spending most of his life farming.
