Interior Design: Key Rooms

During your Interior Design & Decorating Project you will need to work closely with me and connections on selecting the style, color scheme, decorations, and furnishings for the following Key Rooms in your home. Check out the following information and selected links:

Living Rooms:
The living room is for gathering with your family and friends, making memories, and sharing time together! Take your time in picking a style you will be comfortable with over the coming years. Quality counts as you make this long term investment.

Dining Room:
Formal or Casual your dining room is your fashion. Pick the furniture to fit the room as space size and personal taste. Select comfortable seating for lingering time during and after meals. Always allow enough seating. Purchase a table the extends or has inserts. Mix and match chairs or add a bench seat with a cushion. Create an inviting 'look and feel'.

Bedrooms:
PERSONALITY speaks to each bedroom! Your Master Bedroom should have a pleasing feel, color, flooring, furniture and bedding that you love. It's the room you go to spend quiet time alone or with a loved one. It's YOUR space.Relax, read enjoy and sleep well. Help your children express their personalities in their bedrooms. The guest room should be comfortable with a bath close by. Take a tour of suggestions.

Kitchens:
Kitchens are exciting to plan . Consideration of  products investing in time and thought. The quality, cost, durability and how it will accommodate your lifestyle. This page is designed to give some visual ideas on possible ways you may want to consider the layout of your kitchen. This room is generally a major focal point of every home.

Bathooms:
Being your Master Bath or half bath for guests, you will need to think about cabinetry, counter tops, flooring and colors. You will be making decisions on showers, free standing or installed baths and fixtures. Videos on this site are aimed to give you ideas on this. A smart investment is always a nice master bath and coordinating with bedrooms attached.

Closets:
Closets, Closets!! There are never enough. If you are building, plan for as much closet space as possible. Walk in closets for main bedrooms, large ones for guest bedrooms. Pantrys in the kitchen and utility room are useful. Think of your needs. Where will you put the broom, mop, ironing board...  start with your list as a guide. Check out CALIFORNIA CLOSETS.
