Akira Sasahara

Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Idaho. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from UC Davis in June 2017. I obtained my M.A. in Economics and B.A. in Business and Commerce from Hitotsubashi University and Keio University, respectively.
I am interested in a variety of ongoing issues in international trade, regional and urban economics, and international macroeconomics. I have the strong quantitative and theoretical skills necessary to answer questions in these fields.
