Loose ends

Anna and David were married on April 9th 2011.

Thanks to everyone who made it such a memorable wedding for us - in particular to our Best Men for their eloquence, our Bridesmaids for their grace, our Ushers for their moves, our Quizmaster for his wit, and our parents for their generosity.

Photos from the day will be posted from 17th April at www.theimagefile.com/web/richardford.

A full set of quiz answers is below, along with a scoresheet (click the images for full size). Well done to Lekgalameetse for winning and particularly Toby for his dogsmanship; thanks to Suilven for being good sports.

We'll talk to you all a lot more but we're off for a few weeks in Indochina. Love to you all, from Mr & Mrs Edwards.

Some miscellaneous wedding facts:

Music featured in the ceremony that wasn't on the programme included 'Appalachian Spring' by Copeland; 'My Cosmic Autumn Rebellion' by the Flaming Lips; a piano cover of Radiohead's 'True Love Waits' by Christopher O'Riley. We exited to 'Frog's Legs and Dragon's Teeth' by Bellowhead who you must see live if you ever get the chance (join us at Port Eliot Festival in July).

We danced to a live version of 'Midnight train to Georgia' by Gladys Knight and the Pips. The ushers' routine was pure Pip - see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v78-ftcqpNw

The reference at the end of David's speech was to 'My Old Man' by Joni Mitchell. The reference in Ady's speech to the angle of the wake of a duck is described on the link below, though we all know it from the 1996 Cambridge prospectus.
