The Meadow
"“Get ready for a consciousness shift! The Meadow is the most intriguing, mysterious, beautiful love story I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. I am still amazed that the authors could have brought this masterpiece to life while living an ocean apart. The gamut of emotions they dare the reader to experience makes for a wild, but thrilling ride. The Meadow touched the very core of my being and gave me a whole new perspective on all those who have come and gone in my life, the ones that shared beauty with me as well as the ones who caused me pain.”
—Susan Nicholas, Reiki Master

“The Meadow is a sensational and captivating account of two people’s lives as they meet again and again over many centuries. It weaves a path of wisdom through the ages, and awakens our curiosity, enriching our lives as we become involved with its wonderful characters.”
—Judy Suke, Motivational Humorist, President, Triangle Seminars, Professor, Sheridan College

“There is a saying known by those on their path of enlightenment: Everything comes at the perfect time, in the perfect way. The Meadow is exactly the sort of work where if it somehow comes your way, it is a timely message and gift from the Universe to assist you in advancing your own spiritual evolution. The Meadow is a magical journey for the characters in the story and the reader alike. The lessons learned by the protagonists will shine a light on whatever issues a reader may be experiencing. The work is serendipity, synchronicity, and spirituality.”

Planes, Trains & Automobiles - Day 186/365 Year 2
10/22/08 5:30AM rise and shine 7:15AM leave for LAX 8:50AM flight to Newark on American 7:45 Arriive at LAX 8:50AM gate attendant announces flight will be delayed 9:30AM crew exits the aircraft 9:40AM American announces flight cancelled 9:45AM all 200 passengers are being serviced by ONE customer service rep trying to accomodate new flights. Blood pressure begins to rise. 10:00AM wife calls my cell as she is standing on that line and I am chasing Jack around. Wife tells me we will be on a 1:30 flight to Chicago O'Hare. We will have to change planes and catch flight to La Guardia. 10:01AM I am ready to strangle someone. 10:02AM I call Continental and they have a 1:50 flight direct to Newark. 10:05AM tell wife to have them change carriers so we can catch Continental direct to Newark...she does not believe it will happen. Blood pressure continues to rise. 10:40AM Wife tells me we are on Continental flight, like it was her idea. Time to walk two terminals away outside with all our stuff in 85 degree weather. GOOD TIMES! 10:50AM Line for check in is unbelievably long. Line for security is ten times longer. Security line only brings you to an escalator where you actually go up to the real security line. Wife checks in while I go wait on "pre" security line. 11:15AM Wife grabs me from line...we have a stroller and get to bypass the huge security line via elevator...BONUS! Blood pressure goes down. 11:30AM When we approach the metal detector we are randomly screened...all three of us!!! Jack, my wife and I must go to the specail interrogation area where the test our bags and physically pat us down...Jack too!!! UNBELIEVABLE! URGE TO KILL! 11:45 We pass the screening and our on our way! At this point a beer would be perfect. 12:05PM Sit down and order food in an overpriced deli. I ordered two Sam Adams and was charged $1.25 more eachfor "imports". For $2.50 I usually would care less...but at this point I was so mad and broken down I felt on principal alone I should complain...which I did. And I was told by two people, the cashier and the manager, that Sam Adams is an import beerm, not a domestic. *BLANK STARE* 12:45PM Paid check, grabbed reciept, took the corporate headquarter information and left. 1:50PM board the plane. Empty seat between us for Jack YAHOO! 2:05PM Take off 3:15PM we are seated by the restroom and must endure the aroma each time the door opens and closes. A small price to pay after what we have been through so far. 10:30PM EST - Arrive at Newark 10:50PM Standing in the parking garage with father in law, wife and tired 19 mos old searching for a parked car in 37 degree weather is not fun. 11:05 In car off to American terminal to retrieve bags. 11:12 Pull up to terminal grab bags, hop back in car. 11:15 on our way to in laws. 11:20 I forgot about the horrible driving skills of my FIL...gas, release, gas release, gase release...tap brakes, gas, tap brakes....OY! 12:00AM (10/23/08) With Jack sound asleep in the backseat FIL thinks it would be a greeat idea to pull of the interstate and top off his tank...he had a 1/2 a tank...*BLANK STARE w/ STEAM COMING OUT MY EARS* 12:01AM Bright lights from station and interior lights awaked a screaming Jack. BLOOD BEGINS TO BOIL 12:10AM Back on the road and FIL saved a total of $2 by topping off in Jersey. For those keeping score...if I had paid...I would only be down .50 from those import beers I had earlier. 12:30 FIL states, "Hmm, I don't remeber any of the exits on the way here. MUST RESIST URGE TO STRANGLE 12:35 Exit in the middle of the nowere, find a state trooper who explains we are 10 exits past the freeway we needed to catch. 2:25AM finally arrive at my inlaws. 3AM finally hit the hay. Miles traveled: 2,500 Hours waited in airport: 6 Number of times I thought about choking someone: 23 Number of swear words exiting my mouth: 117
